Happy Birthday Abe !!

      And as a little gift for the visitors of my Blog, here is a page from the first volume of me and Erik Svane's Abe Lincoln Graphic "Biopic", to celebrate the 200th Birthday of this iconic and great President of the USA, which is today, this very 12th of February !!

Abraham Lincoln Graphic Bio

        Here is another Character study board of Abe Lincoln I did some months ago, when I started to work on a Biography of the 16th President of the USA in a Graphic Novel form.

    It is a great project that my long time friend and colleague Erik Svane proposed me last year, and I am proud and excited to say that we are currently working very hard on the first volume ( 2 volumes are planned ) which will follow the life of "Honest Abe" from his early boyhood to his Election as President !

    Of course, we are aiming to have it published in America very soon this year 2009, which is the very year of the Commemoration of Lincoln's 200th Birthday !

    Voilà une étude de personnage pour un autre projet de Bande Dessinée que m'a proposé mon scénariste de "General Leonardo", une biographie du plus emblématique et important des Présidents des Etats Unis, le grand Abraham Lincoln.

    Ce serait en deux volumes, destinés à être publiés l'année prochaine pour le Bicentennaire de la naissance de "Honest Abe"...

"The King's Fool and the Wizard"

      Un petit dessin pour un de mes futurs projets de Bande Dessinée qui s'intitulerait "The King's Fool and the Wizard".

      L'histoire du Bouffon le plus populaire à la cour du Roi qui perd soudain tragiquement le pouvoir de faire rire et devient l'apprenti d'un Magicien farfelu qui lui promet de lui rendre son talent comique !...

      

"Général Leonardo", dessin inédit...

     Ce dessin était destiné à figurer au dos du Tome 2 " Croisade vers la Terre Sainte", mais mon Editeur a finalement préféré garder le même dessin de Leonardo que pour le Tome 1, pour faciliter les lecteurs qui avaient déja acheté ce-dernier à reconnaitre la série...

     Mais c'est dommage, car j'aime beaucoup ce dessin avec Leonardo et Scharano... Peut-être figurera-t'il dans le tome 3 ?...

Zagadon mon pirate fétiche...
