Abraham Lincoln Graphic Bio

        Here is another Character study board of Abe Lincoln I did some months ago, when I started to work on a Biography of the 16th President of the USA in a Graphic Novel form.

    It is a great project that my long time friend and colleague Erik Svane proposed me last year, and I am proud and excited to say that we are currently working very hard on the first volume ( 2 volumes are planned ) which will follow the life of "Honest Abe" from his early boyhood to his Election as President !

    Of course, we are aiming to have it published in America very soon this year 2009, which is the very year of the Commemoration of Lincoln's 200th Birthday !

    Voilà une étude de personnage pour un autre projet de Bande Dessinée que m'a proposé mon scénariste de "General Leonardo", une biographie du plus emblématique et important des Présidents des Etats Unis, le grand Abraham Lincoln.

    Ce serait en deux volumes, destinés à être publiés l'année prochaine pour le Bicentennaire de la naissance de "Honest Abe"...

My works in a Dutch Comics Magazine...

    In the "Stripschrift" edition of December 2009, Rik Sanders has written a quite large article about the Graphic Novels I am the Illustrator of, and scriptwritten by my fellow partner Erik Svane : "General Leonardo" ( a three books Graphic Fiction about Leonardo Da Vinci and his War inventions, with  already the two first volumes published by Paquet Editions and available in French language ), and an Abraham Lincoln Graphic Biography in two volumes, slated to be soon published in English language.

   It's nice to see the interest this popular magazine from Holland shows to our work...

    Dans le numéro de "Stripschrift" de Décembre 2009, Rik Sanders a écrit un assez large article qui parle des oeuvres de Bandes Dessinées dont je suis l' Illustrateur, scénarisées par mon co-équipier Erik Svane : "Général Leonardo" (une série en trois volumes sur Léonard De Vinci et ses Inventions militaires, publiée aux éditions Paquet, dont les 2 premiers tomes sont disponibles en langue française), et une Biographie d' Abraham Lincoln en 2 volumes, prévue pour être publiée prochainement en langue anglaise.

     C'est sympa de voir un magazine Hollandais parler avec intérêt de notre travail...
